the Sand series

Like fire, sandblasted allows working in depth on wood natural texture. Originally inspired by the bleached and weathered driftwood on New-Zealand beaches, I’ve created this series, sometimes working up to transparency (other pieces that could also be part of this series can be seen in the planets).
