Welcome to my pages dedicated to woodturning. I started turning in 2001, and try
to progress year after year.
You can see the result in the 2007 and 2008 galleries (and previous one also).
Resume:2006:
I began by reading several books, and I especially recommend some of them:
|
On the woodshop side, I have a Wivamac DB1200 lathe,
a VM100 Vicmarc chuck and several gouges and
hollowing tools.
You can have a look at my latest pieces,
see some home made tools or follow
selected links.
On the technical side, you can find how to turn a
"trembleur" (wobbler) with all instructions to build a string steady rest,
or how to make your woodburning controler from an old PC power supply. I have also written several articles about hollowing tools for French
woodworking magazine Couleurs-Bois.
